Katie Ekin

Katie Ekin was born and raised in Santa Cruz California. Surrounded by music at a young age, Ekin thanks her father (also a musician) for introducing her such artists as The Beatles, Beach Boys, Elvis Presley and Ricky Nelson. At just 20 years old, Ekin has already won many songwriting awards and continues to draw people in with her melodic voice and catchy indie/folk sound.

Justin Angelos

Justin Angelos’ recent work continues to touch on the themes of man against nature, life and death, loss, rebirth and both current and historical events. War, Bird flu and the state of our world are a major keystone in the forming of many of his ideas. With a dash of dark humor his work is meant to provoke questions as well as conversations, while still leaving it to the viewer to take away there own personal interpretations.

Lisa Hochstein

After receiving her BFA from the University of Massachusetts, Lisa Hochstein spent several years in Barcelona, Spain, painting and teaching English. When she returned to the U.S. in 1991, she lived mostly in the Boston area before moving to Santa Cruz in 2002. Hochstein has been an exhibiting artist in Santa Cruz County’s Open Studios since 2003 with work in numerous local and national shows.

Jeremy Klaniecki

Jeremy Klaniecki is an emerging artist in the Santa Cruz area. Described as an “old-school artist reinventing his style in a digital world”, Klaniecki will be partnering with artist Cheryl Isaacson to create an installation from post consumer materials for the event.
